Barb is an accomplished non-profit management professional with over 25 years of experience in board development, governance, planning, fundraising, program development, special event production, and budgeting and finance. Most recently, she worked for the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania (ACLU) for 16 years, serving as the Deputy Director and Director of Administration until February 2019. Barb worked as a point person and mentor for the OnBoard program of the Legacy Heritage Fund, providing guidance and skills building in organizational governance to young board members of local Jewish organizations. Previously, Barb worked for the Jewish Healthcare Foundation.

Alex has a rich history of growing up and working in the Pittsburgh Jewish community. In addition to working with youth at several synagogues, he spent six years as the Athletic Director of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh. In addition, he also served as the Program Director of Emma Kaufmann Camp during that time. Currently, Alex is pursuing a Masters of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus Institute. Alex is passionate about working with the members of our community to build stronger Jewish identity.

Dan Geyser
Maintenance
Dan is a native Pittsburgher, and has lived here his entire life (aside from his one year living in New Jersey). Previously, he has held a variety of positions as an office assistant and general worker. Dan previously worked as a maintenance staff member at another local synagogue. His knowledge of building operations combined with his awareness of Jewish traditions and customs makes him an excellent part of our team.
