The Chanukah Mitzvah Menorah

Join us in a very special holiday project, led by our TLC 7th Grade Class...

The Chanukah Mitzvah Menorah: A gift collection for families in need Here's how it works: In the lobby of the synagogue, a large menorah is on display. Hanging on this menorah, are special tags containing the gender and age of an anonymous child. Each tag represents a needy child whose family cannot afford presents. We are asking all members of our community to “take a tag” and purchase a small gift of your choice that is age and gender appropriate for the child on your tag. There is no minimum or maximum amount of money that you must spend on a gift, every gift counts, no matter the size!! All gifts will be donated to local charities that will distribute them to the families during Hanukkah and other holidays throughout the month. The gifts should be brought to Alex at the synagogue. We will be collecting the presents through December 20th. Please contact Alex at alex@tolols.org or 412-521-6788, with any questions.
