On behalf of the TOL*OLS Men’s Club, we hope that you have been experiencing a joyous holiday season. As we focus our thoughts towards what meaningful goals we would like to accomplish in the new year, we ask that you consider involvement in our TOL*OLS Men’s Club as a way to help meet those goals. Our Sunday morning minyan, where both men and women are welcome, has been greatly enhanced with the participation of our new rabbi. Rabbi Myers has led some of our services and provided us with many words of wisdom. Our breakfast following the service is a wonderful way to talk to our very accessible rabbi and to get to know him in a more relaxed setting. Of course, you can also experience the warmth and camaraderie of being with your fellow congregants, enjoying the company of our regular members and especially our ageless treasure, Cookie Danovitz. We have been in contact with our soon to be tenants from New Light Congregation’s Men’s Club. We are discussing ways to assure they are comfortable in their new surroundings and ways to enhance our Sunday minyan and breakfast experience. We are also excited to be co-sponsoring with TOL*OLS Sisterhood a speaker/breakfast program featuring Dr Bruce Rabin on the morning of November 12, 2017. Dr Rabin will offer a presentation to help the audience understand the mental, emotional, and physical effects of stress and provide suggestions on how to minimize these effects on our overall health. Look for further details about this soon. In addition to these new and enhanced programs, we continue our traditional activities involving our TLC school students and youth. This includes providing bagels for the Sunday school sessions and candy for the upcoming Simcha Torah service. We hope you will join us as we experience these and other new beginnings.
